This bed is rather old, and as such is not in 'as new' condition - it does have a sprinkling of old worm holes (which have been thoroughly treated), a number of shrinkage cracks, some pieces of the marquetry have lifted and the veneers have feathered in places, but it is a very sturdy and solid bed once assembled.
